The Columbia Journal of Race and Law (CJRL) is a journal of legal, political and social science analysis, debate and discourse surrounding the intersection of race and law.
Our mission is to establish a dialogue on historic and contemporary notions of socio-political and legal challenges facing racial and ethnic minorities. Recognizing the intersectionalities amongst racial and ethnic groups, the Journal provides a forum to inspire new thought, explore new alternatives and contribute to the current jurisprudence and public policy. We envision this work as a part of a collective effort progressing towards “a more perfect union.”
